Open Question: I have a question about McAfee Virus Protection Software and viruses?

My version of McAfee has:

virus protection
spyware protection
a firewall
system guards
something called windows protection.
a site advisor

My question is about viruses and certain websites that might affect my computer. I have a thing on my protection software called a site advisor (spell check however you spell advisor) that tells me whether a website is safe or not with a green check mark meaning it’s okay, to a red X that say’s it is not okay.

I accidentally clicked on a red site that had breached browser security. I got out of that site in my guess of less than one second. I made the mistake of going to a site like that before and I spent five minutes in it and five minutes later my software detected a virus. Though this time, it didn’t, supposing that it was because I got out of there fast enough.

With all of the things that I have for protection, do you think I’m okay or do you think I should wipe out my computer? The computer isn’t acting weird at all. I’m afraid because I heard that some viruses can attach to your computer and people can get personal information. For example, if I wanted to buy something online could a hacker do something to get that information? I’m guessing they could.

Also, there’s this site called megavideo, like Youtube. Every time I click on the play button, it pops up a window to a different site. My site advisor say’s it’s okay, but I wonder.

Help please? Thanks.

One-more-thing, people have said that McAfee is bad, but I’ve been using it for two years and it hasn’t done anything bad at all. It’s a good program.

I also have Spybot Search and Destroy. That works great, but if anyone has any better opinions for a program better than that then I would appreciate it.
